Lena swallowed hard. She knew exactly what that meant. The new global system had rolled out weeks ago, requiring a single mark—a microchip under the skin, seamlessly linked to every aspect of life. Without it, she could buy nothing.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly transformed the world, making life more convenient and efficient. From voice assistants like Siri and Alexa to complex machine learning algorithms predicting stock markets and diagnosing diseases, AI is deeply woven into the fabric of our modern society. However, beneath the surface of technological advancement lies a chilling possibility: AI’s capability to establish absolute global control.

The Bible warns of a future time of great tribulation, a period when the Antichrist will rise to power and implement a system that forces all people to take the Mark of the Beast [Revelation 13:16-17]. This mark will determine who can buy or sell, ensuring complete compliance with his rule. But how could such a system be enforced on a worldwide scale? 

The answer lies in artificial intelligence. The very technology that is revolutionizing finance, surveillance, and personal data management. AI has the power to monitor, track, and control every individual’s financial transaction, making it the perfect vehicle for the Beast System prophesied in Scripture.

For the Antichrist to maintain power, he must have a way to monitor all people around the world for every second. Unlike God, Satan is not omnipresence. He can’t be in all places at the same time. Instead, he needs a vehicle that will do it for him. Here comes AI that can make it possible for total control.

1. AI-Driven Surveillance Networks

Governments and corporations already use AI-powered facial recognition systems to track people’s movements. Countries like China employ AI-driven surveillance to monitor citizens and assign them a social credit score. This score is determining their privileges based on government-approved behavior. A similar system, on a global scale, could allow the Antichrist to identify and track those who refuse to worship him [Revelation 13:15]. AI-enhanced cameras, drones, and smart cities will ensure no one can escape his oversight.

He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

Technology is advancing so quickly. It is difficult to keep up with the evolution of machines. Elon Musk is planning to produce Optimus Robots that meet the humanoid form factor. As AI develops, it could easily evolve into a high-tech being that could speak and demand worship.

2. AI in Financial Transactions: Controlling Who Buys and Sells

The most frightening events are for those left behind. They will believe the Antichrist’s “lying wonder,” deceiving people into accepting the Beast System and taking the Mark of the Beast, 666. If they do, they will be lost forever living apart from God in hell.

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10

Though the full Antichrist system has not yet emerged, the infrastructure is already being built. AI-driven financial controls, biometric surveillance, and predictive policing are becoming normalized in everyday life. Governments are already pushing for digital IDs (aka Real ID), central bank digital currencies, and universal tracking systems, all of which could be used to implement the Beast System in the near future.

For believers in Christ, this is not a time to fear but to stay spiritually awake. Jesus warned us in Matthew 24:42, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
