What did Jesus do for YOU and WHY?
Jesus Died to Give You Eternal Life in Heaven!
God loves you, not because you've done everything (or anything) right or because you're a good person. He loves you because He is good. Jesus died a horrific, excruciating and embarrassing death hanging naked on a cross on the most traveled road to Jerusalem. He chose this painful path because it was the only way for us to be accepted into heaven. (John 14:6)
It doesn't matter what bad things you did to yourself or others. Jesus took on ALL your past, present, and future sins (Colossians 2:13-14) after you pray the salvation prayer below. If you confess with your mouth, and believe that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved.
Jesus' heart doesn't want anyone to perish and spend eternity apart from Him - He wants to save everyone. (Matthew 18:14) That includes you! Don't play games or chicken with your eternal residence. Experience Jesus' mercy, forgiveness, and grace by giving your life today and declaring the Salvation Prayer below out loud to Jesus - He is always listening!

What happens when you share your decision with others?
Be prepared that not everyone will be excited about your decision. They may ask you, "What got into you?" Remember, that only God's opinion matters. The people that don't support your decision, some you consider friends, are only seeing the worldly perspective, not from a heavenly point of view. You are in alignment with what the Bible says - which is 100% true! Brush off those comments, lean into the Lord for comfort.
Purchase a Bible
The word of God is alive and powerful. It sharpens your wisdom and exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. More importantly, learning God's promises brings hope in a world full of depression and hopelessness. With the world spreading lies and twisting the truth that God has for your life - you can only recognize these lies by reading the Bible.
Search for a Bible Teaching Church
Not all churches are created equal. Avoid motivational, feel-good sermons from pastors that never read a Bible verse. The Bible truths and Jesus must be in their statement of faith. A belief in the Trinity, Jesus as the Son of God, that he died and rose again. Avoid those that twist the Bible. This brings us back to reading the Bible yourself. This quiet time allows the Holy Spirit living inside of you to give you wisdom to interpret what you are reading.

My Testimony
I was raised in a Christian family, and I can't complain. Getting introduced to Jesus at a young age gave me a foundation to return to the church after I screwed up my life. I wanted to call the shots without the guidance of Jesus, and I made a huge mess.
Spending too much time worrying about fitting in and being accepted by the masses, my life ended up empty, unsatisfying and miserable. Year after year "trying to perform" to earn my keep in this world and my identity was my career. When I lost my executive level position in my 30's, I lost myself.
As I sat alone on the beach wondering what would happen next, Jesus touched my heart calling me back home! I will never leave Him again!
